Sick Again

Seems like every time I turn around one of my family members is sick! I mean come on! Enough is enough already! I can't wait for spring! Curly took another trip to Primary Children's Medical Center again. This time he didn't have to stay! YES! I say hallelujah all the way home! He did have to go the a respiratory clinic though. During his first visit there the specialist discovered he wasn't getting enough oxygen in his little lungs, so we they sent him home with his very own oxygen tank!

It was a shock to the system to say the least! I really don't know how Mom's with children that are really seriously sick keep it together. I was wavering on basket case! What am I saying "WAS" I still am. I worry way too much! He had an appointment today, and it went well! He is still home, and as you can see from the pictures in good spirits! We had to basically use a whole roll of tape on his face to keep him from pulling the oxygen tube out of his nose! He is one tough little boy! I think he gets it from his Momma!

So....this is the at home oxygen tank/bed massage! Our bed at moment is just a set of matress on the floor, so you can image the vibration this little puppy was giving our matress! We had to put it on a blanket so we could get a good night sleep!! Ahhh....the things I could say, the places I could go with a story like that........but don't worry...I won't!

Oh poor little guy! It is so sad when they are sick! Bring on the spring time so no one else has to be sick!

OHHHHHH KIMM!!! What a sweetie! I'm so sorry that he wasn't doing well. And at the same time, I'm grateful for a reminder of how resilient children are. What a trooper!

Ooooh... poor baby and poor mommy. I HATE it when my kids are sick, too. And a tank and tubes -- ugh -- I couldn't do it. Good luck with him. When he is all better and you can travel .... VISIT VISIT VISIT! Give him a big slobbery kiss from his Auntie Jodi (who he doesn't even know yet... VISIT VISIT VISIT!)
